After two and a half years working remotely as a contractor and going through the pain of managing my taxes, having a precarious work setup and losing some employee benefits I was very hesitant of keeping an open door for contracting work.

After looking for jobs in the Elixir space I ended up finding Remote, whose mission is to make life simpler and easier for people working remotely for other countries, I knew I had to be a part of this. I have so much to give from my experience, and this is a vision I want to help bring to life.

I've never been so excited about a job before, and I hope I'm able to make the most of it!
